Nepenthes ampullaria are lowland plants which produce short leaves and large round pitchers with a very small opening. They are so named because of the ampule-shaped mouth opening, which looks like you could stick a cork in it! This BRAND NEW clone is aptly named 'Borneo Sunset', having solid green pitchers with a deep red, highly contrasting peristome...FANTASTIC! These plants are approximately 12 inches in diameter, with many producing multiple basal (ground-level) growth points already, each with bunches of pitchers. A good choice for the terrarium too.
