USPS has announced their holiday shipping deadlines for Christmas 2017, and this blog post covers the last dates to place orders for shipment using USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Express service. Much of this information can be found on our FAQ page, but is reiterated here to put it all in one place.

Priority Mail is our standard method of shipping live plants, and usually takes two to three business days to arrive once the order is shipped. HOWEVER, Priority Mail is NOT a guaranteed service, and because of this, we do not guarantee delivery by Christmas if this shipping method is selected. We have found it to be very reliable, and the post office works very hard to make sure all packages are delivered by Christmas; but we cannot guarantee this.

Priority Express (Express Mail as it used to be known) is a guaranteed service, and usually takes one to two days to arrive once the order is shipped. The drawback with Express is that it is very expensive, especially when you compare it to the cost of Priority Mail (usually at least 4 times the cost!). This is an excellent choice for last-minute orders, though, as it will ensure the order is delivered on time.

Our last date to place orders using Priority Mail shipping, and in time for Christmas delivery, is Sunday, December 17. These orders will be shipped Monday, December 18, and should have plenty of time to get to their destinations before Christmas.

Our last date to place orders using Priority Express shipping, and in time for Christmas delivery, is Monday, December 18. These orders will be shipped Tuesday, December 19, and will arrive at their destinations before Christmas.

Keep in mind that our Gift Certificates can be ordered right up until Christmas Eve, and we can send you a digital copy right away. This gives you the opportunity to have the gift in time for Christmas, and lets the recipient select their own plant(s) as well.

You can place an order at any time from now through these ordering deadlines and still have them shipped just in time for Christmas by requesting us to ship closer to Christmas. Simply include your delivery date/instructions in the Comments area as you check out.

Merry Christmas to everyone from the gang here at!
