For many people, this species is their first experience with sundews; and rightfully so! This is probably because they are very easy to grow, and make a nice addition to a terrarium or carnivorous plant collection. In addition, their long, tentacle-covered leaves make them an ideal candidate to help control small flying pests like mosquitoes and flies! As the 'Broad Leaf' name implies, this particular clone of Cape Sundew is known for making leaf petioles (the part of the leaf without tentacles) that are almost as wide as the rest of the leaf. This gives them a nice stocky appearance as they mature. All our plants are shipped potted to reduce stress. Water and enjoy!
