HURRICANE BERYL UPDATE
PetFlyTrap.com is located in Spring, Texas, and took a direct hit from the eye wall of Hurricane Beryl on Monday, July 8.

Winds of 80 MPH or more battered our 1.5-acre facility from the east, then south, and then finally from the west as the eye continued to move northward. While we didn't have any permanent damage to any of our structures or vehicles, and no trees blown down (this time!), we do have many hundreds of cubic yards of debris to cut up and move before we are back to anything like 'normal'. Many of our neighbors were not so fortunate, with downed trees, trees in/on homes, downed power/internet lines, etc. Lines to get gasoline were many hours long for days!
Due to the widespread electric and internet service outages throughout the area (2.265 million people without power because of this!) during and after the storm, we were not able to access our website admin to print orders. We also could not print USPS shipping labels unless we could access the USPS online system. These services have been restored (after 5 days of 90-plus degree heat), and we will be shipping all current orders on Monday, July 15. Rest assured that each and every customer will be sent a Shipping Confirmation e-mail once their order is shipped (which is our usual procedure), and this will include tracking information. This is the best and easiest way to know the status of your order while we work through these difficult times.
We have heard from many of our local 'regulars' that they would like to come out and help us with the cleanup. While we appreciate the offer, this involves chain saws and other equipment that we would rather handle in-house. However, if you want to help, please consider ordering from PetFlyTrap.com to help us offset our cleanup and maintenance costs!
