We used this particular grade of coarse quartz-based sand for many years, but lost our supplier some time back. Fortunately, we have been able to locate a new source; and we're now able to offer it to you as well! We recommend this sand in all outdoor potting situations, whether it be single pots of peat/sand mix, or an entire bog garden. Have no doubt...this is NOT calcium-based sand or play sand, and has little to no particulates!
