This a wonderful easy-growing hybrid of Nepenthes khasiana x (ventricosa x maxima) that has not been offered by any carnivorous plant nursery here in the U.S. for many years, IF EVER! We especially like the fact that the sides of the peristome do not join in the back of the pitcher...giving the pitchers a 'throated' appearance like a US pitcher plant! This is a highly vigorous hybrid, and produces large upright pitchers that are cherry red with green speckles on the outside, and GLOWING GREEN on the inside. Very distinct contrast! No need to wonder if your plant will produce pitchers like in the photograph when it gets mature...it's the exact same plant, as these are produced from tissue culture! EXCELLENT for hanging baskets!
