Nepenthes 'Helen' was named over a decade ago - when it was debuted by Borneo Exotics at the June 2011 Chelsea Flower Show in London - and it is named in honor of famed actress Dame Helen Mirren. But it is just now becoming readily available! It is a primary hybrid from Borneo Exotics, and combines Nepenthes spathulata with their GIANT form of Nepenthes spectabilis. This plant makes lots of round, speckled pitchers with huge, glossy red lips. Spectacular in a hanging basket when mature! As of this offering, we are the only nursery in the US to have this plant in stock; be one of the first to own one of these!
