This is a new name for an old classic from Borneo Exotics, and has previously been called 'Singapore Garden Tech' in the US, and 'Bloody Mary' in Europe. It combines
Nepenthes ampullaria
(giving this plant its tubby, bright red pitchers and clumping ground pitchers) and
N. ventricosa
(giving the plant its ease of growth, long tendrils, and hanging habit). the end result is a plant that has brilliant red pitchers hanging all around the plant; EXCELLENT for hanging baskets! Since it is a hybrid between two species, this plant exhibits wonderful hybrid vigor, and tolerates a wider range of temperatures and humidities than many other Nepenthes; SWEET! As with all our plants, these are shipped potted and ready to grow, not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers.

This is by far the prettiest little Nepenthes in my collection. It's growing beautifully with red-blushed leaves, has not lost a single pitcher since I've had it, and has grown a few more.
