Description

If you like candy-striped peristomes that reflex back like the backsplash in your kitchen, this one is it. Talk about a show-stopper! While we will not debate the taxonomy of this species, Nepenthes mollis was formerly called Nepenthes hurrelliana, and we see both names used in cultivation. The pitchers are beautifully sculptured, very round, with a large, flaring CANDY-STRIPED peristome that extends all the way up the hood column on adult pitchers. All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers. For those who are keeping records, this is Borneo Exotics' item BE-3921.
