Description

Nepenthes 'Rebecca Soper' is a nice easy Nepenthes to grow, and has a combination of wonderful parentage AND deep red coloration on the pitchers. For those who live in warmer climates, we have found this plant is almost as easy to grow and maintain as the famed Nepenthes x ventrata! Keep the plant indoors if the temps drop below about 50F, but other than that, these can be grown outdoors in a humid, shady spot on the porch, hanging under a large tree, or even on the patio! These plants are produced from rooted cuttings of our own plants, so there are ONLY A FEW AVAILABLE! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress. Plants are ready for immediate shipment!

A quick bit of taxonomy here, for those who want more information: This cultivar is a hybrid of Nepenthes gracillima (a close relative of Nepenthes alata) and Nepenthes ventricosa. Since the SUPER easy Nepenthes x ventrata is the hybrid between N. alata and N. ventricosa, you can see why 'Rebecca Soper' would be so easy to care for.; and in our opinion from observing the growth habit of these plants, we tend to agree. Either way, you are getting a plant that is SUPER easy to grow, and will produce loads of nicely colored pitchers!
