As with all of the varied clones of N. ampullaria, these plants produce round, tubby pitchers with funnel-shaped openings. This ampule-like shape gives them their name; they look like you could shove a cork in the pitcher opening! This particular clone of the species, though, produces near solid red pitchers that are liberally speckled with even darker spots. If you like dark-colored ampullarias, this is the one for you! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers.
