Description

Nepenthes boschiana is a wonderful species from Borneo, and is most closely related to Nepenthes faizaliana. We especially like this species because of its wonderfully slender, darkly-speckled pitchers and ease of growth. But it is also a good choice for creating hybrids because of this! While there are a few assorted clones of this species that are occasionally available, these are a mix of clones; so they will be variable, and there will be male and female plants in the mix. Also, the parents to these plants both come from Gunung (Mount) Sakumpang, which is a brand new location to cultivation; this makes these a good candidate for ex situ conservation of the species! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers.
