Nepenthes burbidgeae x veitchii - Wistuba

This is a wonderfully colored and patterned hybrid, and a good grower as well. Adult pitchers are somewhat bulbous, and resemble the rarely-available Nepenthes northiana in some respects. But even the smaller pitchers on this hybrid are very colorful, and unique in many ways! The pitchers fade from a lighter greenish yellow at the bottom to a more reddish tone near the lip. And with its Nepenthes veitchii parent, the peristome on larger pitchers is wide and wonderfully candy-striped. Spectacular is an understatement, and it's not very common in collections either! Get them while we have them. All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers.
