Description

This is a spectacular new hybrid from Borneo Exotics, and combines uniquely desirable characteristics from each parent! Adult pitchers are somewhat bulbous, and resemble the rarely-available Nepenthes northiana in some respects. But even the smaller pitchers on this hybrid are very colorful, and unique in many ways! The Nepenthes burbidgeae parent gives the pitchers its strikingly candy-striped peristomes; the Nepenthes veitchii parent has wonderfully flaring peristomes; and the Nepenthes lowii parent is renowned for its wide, flaring, toilet bowl shaped upper pitchers and huge amount of sugary exudate that is produced under the hood. WOW! Spectacular is an understatement, and it's not very common in collections either! Get them while we have them.
