We expect that these plants will have some of the most beautiful peristomes of any Nepenthes! Nepenthes chaniana is not commonly used in hybridizing efforts, but has wonderful features; many clones produce wonderful CANDY-STRIPED peristomes! Couple this with the hourglass pitcher shape, wide, FLARING peristomes, and deep red/black coloration of Nepenthes 'Briggsiana' (an illegitimate name for the hybrid between Nepenthes ventricosa and Nepenthes lowii!) and you get a wonderful, easy to grow hybrid with flaring mouths and candy-striped peristomes. These are individual seed-grown clones too, so there will be some amazing variability (and males and females!) in the mix. So new to cultivation that we don't even have a photo yet! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress; not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers.
