This is one easy plant! Nepenthes gracilis is often described as a weed in the wild, where it sends thin vines covered with leaves and pitchers through the low grasses and up into the shrubs. And it grows equally well in a pot or on a trellis! The 'nigrapurpurea' name translates to 'black-purple', and these will definitely fit the bill when grown in good lighting; slender deep purple to almost BLACK pitchers adorn each leaf, giving you bunches of pitchers in no time. One of our favorite clones of this species due to the rich coloration of the pitchers. All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as you might find with some other vendors. Water and enjoy!
