The female parent, Nepenthes petiolata, produces deep red pitchers with even darker markings; and Nepenthes talangensis produces funnel-shaped speckled pitchers. WOW! Not only is this one a new hybrid from Borneo Exotics; it is the BEST clone out of the ones available, and promises to be highly sought after.
