The female parent is the superb cultivar of the species Nepenthes robcantleyi called Nepenthes 'Queen of Hearts', which has been exhibited worldwide-many times. The male parent is Nepenthes aristolochioides, with its bizarre egg-shaped pitchers. In general, Nepenthes aristolochioides rarely makes a good hybrid parent. However, this is a good one, as it has exceptionally large pitchers. thanks to the robcantleyi ‘Queen of Hearts’ parent. You get the best of both species in this wonderful hybrid!
