Nepenthes robcantleyi x ovata - large, dark and tubby pitchers with a HUGE peristome!! BE-3996

Years ago, we had a hybrid between a smaller, greener clone of Nepenthes truncata and N. ovate; and it sold out very quickly, due to the HUGE flaring peristomes alone. Well this brand new cross promises to be even better! The female parent is one of BE's unnamed clones of Nepenthes robcantleyi, well-known and VERY highly sought after by collectors for their wonderful, red-black coloration, huge size, and wide, flaring peristomes. Couple this with the dark
coloration and tubby shape of Nepenthes ovata and we can virtually guarantee these won't last for long! These are SEED-GROWN plants too, so there will be male and female plants in the mix. Small plants up to 3 or more inches in diameter, shipped potted and ready to grow in 3-inch pots, not bareroot as you find with many other suppliers.
