Description

These plants are sure to have some of the most beautiful peristomes of any Nepenthes! Nepenthes spectabilis is well-known for producing highly contrasting colors and patterns on its pitchers, with nicely candy-striped peristomes; and this is Borneo Exotics' extra special Giant clone from Gunung (Mount) Perkinson. Couple this with the darker pitcher coloration and overall shape of Nepenthes bongso, and you have one nice hybrid plant. This one is so new that the only photos we have are of a juvenile pitcher; but since these are from a single clone, they should all look nearly identical to this! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as you might find with other suppliers. For those who are keeping records, this is Borneo Exotics' item BE-3991.
