Nepenthes veitchii 'Yellow x Striped - horticultural hybrid'

If you're looking for a plant that will produce pitchers with large, flaring peristomes, Nepenthes veitchii is an excellent choice! This variety of Nepenthes veitchii is a horticulturally-made cross between a plant with a wide, golden-yellow peristome and pitcher body, and a plant with a wide, flaring, candy-striped peristome. Sure to be nice! These plants do well in intermediate temperatures. While there is no guarantee that these will have the highly sought-after candy-striped peristome of the one parent, this is a good possibility, and a relatively inexpensive way to have a chance of getting one!
