The taxonomic debate surrounding Nepenthes dactylifera/fusca/zakriana still continues (whether they are all the same species (fusca) or separate species), we feel the distinct geographic ranges of each of these 'species' is enough for us to offer them separately. Nepenthes zakriana is a colorful, easy to grow species. Native to Sabah, Borneo, it produces striking, elongated pitchers, which are bright green in color with intense, dark purple/brown speckling. The peristome is lime green when the pitcher first opens, but becomes more dusky brown as the pitcher ages. Wonderful in a hanging basket as they gain some size! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, not bareroot as with some other vendors. Water and enjoy!
