Description

As with almost all of the Pinguicula we offer, this is a neat and easy to grow smaller butterwort! Pinguicula emarginata is found naturally in the Mexican states of Veracruz and Pueblo, on wet, rocky outcroppings. The plants have a rosy center and the flowers are wonderful...they can range from almost white to a medium purple, but ALWAYS have darker purple veins throughout the petals, which makes them quite beautiful. These plants are better than average, though, because they can get almost solid red leaves when grown in good lighting, and are known for producing larger than average rosettes! A cute, butterwort to start out a collection! All our plants are shipped potted to reduce stress. Ready to grow for you...just water and enjoy!
