At first glance, butterworts look like any other harmless plant. But the top surface of the butterwort's leaves are covered with sticky mucilage, and can trap scores of small fungus gnats, midges, fruit flies and other small insects. These are an excellent addition to your kitchen windowsill, and will produce lots of brilliant fuchsia pink flowers as well! We received this clone of P. moranensis from another grower, and have found it to be quite unique, especially in its two-tone leaf coloration. Because of this, we've been propagating it in hopes of being able to offer a few from time to time. Picture is representative of full-grown plants, suitable for 4-inch or larger pots. All our plants are shipped potted to reduce stress. Ready to grow and start catching insects right away!
