We received these plants from one of our suppliers, and they were labelled as 'Sarracenia Judith Hindle'. However, once they started to get a bot larger, we could tell these weren't the actual 'Judith Hindle', but look very similar. Since we only offer plants for which we are sure of the identity, we have opted to call this one 'Judith Hindle Imposter'. As with the true 'Judith Hindle', this is a man-made hybrid Sarracenia, and shows much of the same beautiful coloration and ease of care. However, it appears to be a bit shorter and more curved than Judith Hindle. A neat little plant! When mature, these plants reach 12 or so inches tall, with some of the most striking pitcher colors of any pitcher plant, and even deeper red flowers than the original! Combine that with their insect eating capabilities, and this is one great plant! Unless otherwise specified, all our Sarracenia are shipped potted to reduce stress. Ready to grow...just add water!
