Sarracenia 'Maroon'

Sarracenia 'Maroon' is a beautiful clone of Sarracenia x chelsonii, which is Sarracenia purpurea x Sarracenia rubra. The Sarracenia rubra parent gives this hybrid its habit of producing loads of growing points (offshoots) and red coloration, while the Sarracenia purpurea parent lends its short, stocky shape, and wonderful deep red coloration to boot! It's like a taller Purple Pitcher Plant! And since these are all the exact same clone, they should all look just like the photograph as they mature!
