If you like GLOWING GREEN plants, this is another great choice, as all three parents are anthocyanin-free, meaning they lack red pigment. This one really lives up to the name 'Super Green Giant'! It is a hybrid of all-green variants of Sarracenia (psittacina x rubra subsp. jonesii) x rubra subsp. gulfensis, and was named by John Hummer in 1999. We consider this plant SUPER because of its rapid growth rate, and the way the numerous pitchers seem to scramble off over the ground, before gracefully arching up toward the pitcher hood and opening. The combination of characteristics makes this one stunning hybrid! Slender medium-long pitchers with gracefully curving neck and ruffled hood edges. Quite a fast grower, and we only have a few that we've produced from our own plants! Unless otherwise specified, all our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress!
