Sarracenia psittacina is a wonderful, dainty little pitcher plant, and a great addition to your outdoor bog collection! Plants stay small, rarely over a foot across, and usually much smaller. The pitchers are prostrate, and form a flat rosette of pitchers with a very unique beak-shaped hood. This beaklike feature is what gives this species its common name (Parrot Pitcher Plant) and scientific name (parrots are psittacine birds). This is a neat one! Smaller plant shipped potted in a 3-inch pot; not bareroot as you find with many other growers. Water and enjoy!
