Sarracenia purpurea 'Venosa Red'

Sarracenia purpurea is one of our favorite species of Sarracenia, and one of the shortest varieties too. They often grow in the partial shade of other plants, making it an excellent choice for an indoor terrarium. When grown in bright light, the entire pitcher of this clone is initially covered with deep red veins on a glowing green background, but these plants continue to darken, and can turn solid deep red! Unless otherwise specified, all our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress.
