Sarracenia x mitchelliana (S. leucophylla x S. purpurea)

We have quite a few customers who like the more rounded, tubby appearance of Sarracenia purpurea/rosea, AND the ruffled, white-speckled hood of Sarracenia leucophylla. Well here's the perfect plant for you...a naturally-occurring hybrid that combines both traits! These are nice and dark too, and we love them! In our opinion, these are one of the most spectacular natural hybrids to occur. Wonderfully ruffled and patterned hoods grace the top of this plant's dark, medium-tall pitchers. For those who like the look of the hoods on Sarracenia leucophylla but don't have room for a tall plant, this one's for you! Unless otherwise specified, all our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress.
