If you like Venus Flytraps with unique characteristics, here you go! Venus Flytrap 'Cheerleader' is about as weird as they get. Overall they are similar in appearance to the common flytrap; but when you look closer, you can see that some of the traps are shaped like fuzzy green pom-poms...hence the name! While the pom-pom looking traps are not functional (not good bug-catchers), this variety will produce both typically-shaped traps AND the ones that give it the namesake. Quite the conversation piece to the flytrap lover! Please note that this variety does not consistently produce the unique traps, so they can sometimes look more like your typical Venus Flytrap. While the plants we send are the EXACT SAME CLONE as the one that is pictured here, because of the random nature of this trait, we cannot guarantee that the plant you receive will consistently produce the unique traps. All our plants are shipped potted, so all you do is water and enjoy.

Further information- We have found that this plant displays the trait beautifully in cooler temperatures, closer to 65-70 degrees . Hence, most of the year, we will be sending out plants that are not showing the trait at the time.
