A unique plant indeed! While almost all Venus Flytrap plants have at least some red markings, inner traps, or tinge to the leaves, there are a few varieties that don't. And there are a few varieties that just don't seem to be able to make up their minds. Dionaea 'Grun' is one of these! In fact, 'Grun' means 'green' in German. You would expect the entire plant to be a solid glowing green. However, we have found that in optimum lighting conditions, the inside of the traps are multicolored...a blush red deep down, then a thick band of typical green coloration, and finishing with a bold deep red stripe along the outer edges of the traps. Beautiful! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress, so all you do is water and enjoy.
