Venus Flytrap 'PFT Carcharoth' is finally available in very limited quantities! This cultivar is exclusive to PetFlyTrap.com (a formal description of this cultivar can be accessed at https://cpn.carnivorousplants.org/Article.php/CPNv51n3p154-161), and is similar to the 'Werewolf' flytrap variety, but has 'claws' that turn outward from the trap. They also twist all over the place, and resemble the claws of a werewolf. Talk about a mean-looking plant! We chose this name based on the werewolf character of Lord of the Rings fame...Carcharoth was the first offspring of the original werewolf, and was fed flesh as a cub. Talk about a fitting name...this is an offspring of the original 'Werewolf' cultivar', and as with all carnivorous plants, it eats 'meat'. AWESOME! We have VERY few of these currently available, so get one quick! Please note that this cultivar does not have trigger hairs inside the traps, and will not typically close its traps. In our opinion, the coolness factor of the teeth and the name certainly makes up for it! All our plants are shipped potted, so all you do is water and enjoy.
