If you're looking for a good non-carnivorous addition to a smaller terrarium, Philodendron camposportoanum is an excellent choice. It stays much smaller than many other Philodendrons, and has some unique characteristics. When the new leaves emerge (which is almost constantly, especially on more mature plants with multiple vines) they have an orange-red irridescent blush...quite colorful! Juvenile leaves can also be very dark and pubescent (like velvet). As the vines lengthen and mature, the larger and larger adult leaves become more heart shaped; and plants with fully mature leaves look more arrowhead-shaped. Nice! These are cuttings started from our own mother plants, well rooted and ready to grow. These plants prefer but not wet soil, and low to medium light conditions.
