Description

A RARE new addition to the PetFlyTrap product line! Bladderworts (Utricularia) are carnivorous plants that produce bladder-shaped traps that suck in small prey items. There are both aquatic and terrestrial species. generally speaking, aquatic species can be grown in something as simple as a bucket of pond water, while terrestrial bladderworts such as this one are wonderful additions to any carnivorous plant collection; and can be especially rewarding in a terrarium with other plants! This particular species (Utricularia fulva) is native to the Northern Territory of Australia, and grows best as an terrestrial in hot, wet conditions. Of course, most enthusiasts grow this species for its striking orange-hued flowers...not as uncommon as the red flowers of U. campbelliana, but uncommon all the same! All our plants are shipped potted and ready to grow to reduce stress. Only ONE available, though!
